Our story · Est. 2010
Fifteen years of one idea, done properly.
We could tell you we're thorough and deeply local. Instead, here's every number that backs it up — verified, current, and updated the same day it changes.

In 2010, most of San Francisco real estate was run like a numbers business — big rosters, bigger marketing budgets, and agents who'd never actually lived where they sold. Haven started as a bet that the opposite would work better: fewer clients, deeper knowledge, and agents who could tell you which block gets afternoon sun without checking an app.
01 · How we started
Three agents, four blocks, no roadmap.
Haven opened with three agents and a shared belief: that real estate advice is only as good as the local knowledge behind it. We picked four neighborhoods — Pacific Heights, the Marina, Cow Hollow, Presidio Heights — and decided we'd rather know them cold than spread thin across the whole Bay.
That constraint became the whole strategy. Sixteen years later, it still is.

02 · How we work
Small by design, not by accident.
Every Haven agent caps their client load. No call centers, no junior hand-offs, no listing you'll never see in person before it goes live. It costs us growth. It's the whole point.
"We turn away more business than we take. That's the metric we're actually proud of."
It's why 68% of our business comes from past clients and their referrals — the best kind of proof there is.
03 · Where we're headed
Same four neighborhoods, deeper still.
We're not opening a second office or expanding the map. The plan for the next fifteen years is the plan for the last fifteen: know these streets better than anyone else does, and let that be the whole pitch.

Milestones
The short version, by year.
2010
Haven opens its doors
Three agents, one storefront office on Fillmore Street, four neighborhoods chosen on purpose.
2014
First $10M+ sale
A Presidio Heights estate — proof the boutique model could compete at any price point.
2019
Top 1% producer, citywide
2024
312th home closed
$487M in total volume, entirely within the same four zip codes we started in.
2026
Still 3 agents
Same size we've been since 2016. That's not a limitation — it's the strategy working.
